Your questions, answered! Well, not all of them, obviously....

Q: What if I can't find the product that I am looking for on your site?

A: We are constantly striving to expand our range to include more of the classics, as well as new items that come onto the market, but sometimes it's difficult to keep pace (especially as we like to give all our toys a thorough testing by messing about with them in the office!). If you can't find what you're looking for, then click on the 'Help Me' button that appears on each page. That's what it's there for after all - we like to chat, and we like to help people, so try out our friendly personal touch and don't be afraid to ask, we're lovely! If there isn't anyone available, then send us an e-mail to Webteam@FunFuzion.co.uk or call us on 0844 589 1000 and we will give you a price on anything we can find that might suit you.

Q: I need something quickly! How soon can you get it to me?

A: We aim to ship at least 80% of our orders on the day that we receive them. The vast majority of the remainder will go the day after. If you order anything and we find that, due to a stock discrepancy or shipping problem, we will not be able to get it out to you within a few days, we will send you an e-mail or give you a call to let you know, giving you an estimated time for completion of the order, and giving you the option to cancel if you so wish. Our standard shipping is by first class Royal Mail, over 90% of which arrives next-day, but if you’ve forgotten someone's birthday (hey, we've all been there) and need a super-fast delivery, then you should feel free to contact us and we will try to find an option for you; Special Delivery which is guaranteed next day by 1pm, as well as Courier options, are available in certain circumstances for an additional cost – we keep it off the site as it is rarely used and tends to confuse, but it is always worth giving us a call so we can check stock levels and prioritise your order if you need us to. All the information on Shipping Rates & Options can be found on the Small Print page.

Q: A product on your site specifies 'various colours available' - if I want to be specific, how do I go about it?

A: It is true that some of our products come in slightly varying designs, colours or shapes. If you need to be specific (eg: you want a blue wind-up boat, as opposed to just a wind-up boat) then the easiest thing to do is to use the 'Order Notes' box during the checkout phase. However, you may also like to drop us an e-mail Webteam@FunFuzion.co.uk giving us your name, postcode, and precise requirements, or give us a call on 0844 589 1000 to discuss it. Please note that if you order more than one of something, and there are different styles or colours of that one product available, we will vary it and give you some of each, so if you need them all to be absolutely identical for some reason then please let us know in a similar fashion!

Q: My order was damaged when it arrived! What do I do?

A: The first thing you should do is call us so we can whinge about Royal Mail! We will never send out an item that is not in a suitable condition for use - but we hope you appreciate that things do get damaged in transit from time to time, irrespective of how well they might be packed!  If you open your package to find something in tiny pieces, full of water or with a crucial bit snapped off then give us a call - we will ask you to send it back and get another one out to as soon as we can. For more details please see our Returns & Refunds Policy on the Small Print page.

Q: Who makes the things that you sell?

A: Various companies supply us, but one thing that they all have in common is that they do not sell anything that has not been rigorously tested for safety. Some of the things we sell are not toys. Where an item is a toy, it will be marked 'CE' which means that it is in compliance with the Toy (Safety) Regulations 1995.  If you have any specific concerns then just ask us – we can always find out what we don’t know!  If you want to know the chemical make-up of the paint used in the Russian Doll set, for example, we will find out and tell you!

Q: I need a large quantity of one thing for a business promotion. Can I get a discount?

A: If you want to place a bulk order then please feel free to give us a call. Generally speaking our prices are pretty much rock-bottom to begin with, but we will certainly take a look at what you want and figure out if we can do it any cheaper for you - it never hurts to ask, eh? One thing to bear in mind, though, is that our stock level fluctuates constantly, so if you need, say, 500 of one particular line, please try to give us a bit of notice as we may have to locate additional stock!

LEARN SOMETHING DIFFERENT WITH OUR RANDOM QUESTION OF THE MONTH:

Q: Which would win in a fight between a duck and a duck-billed platypus?

A: Far be it from us to pit any animal against another. But if we had to, hypothetically, clearly there are a lot of factors at play here. Both are semi-aquatic although the platypus is, we would say, slightly more versatile on land. The platypus also grows to around 50cm in length and thus has a slight size advantage over your average duck. To further force the issue in the favour of the platypus it does have poisonous ankle spurs on its hind legs, which can kill small animals. Interestingly, the platypus has a highly attuned sense of electrolocation (whereby it can locate prey by detecting electrical fields caused by muscle movements), so it would also be a bit handy if this fight occurred in the dark. The one downside to the platypus in this confrontation is really that, unlike a duck, it can't fly. So our money is on the platypus unless we are talking about aerial combat, in which case the duck has it. A couple of other things; the duck bill on the duck-billed platypus isn't a bill, it's just a large rubbery snout that has the mouth underneath. And there is no agreed plural of platypus, so thank you for not asking who would win in a fight between a group of ducks and a group of platypusses. Platypi? Platypoos? Not sure.
